AFTERCARE

Aftercare is crucial for optimal results and long-lasting effects of your beauty treatments. Please follow these instructions carefully to ensure the best outcomes and minimize the risk of complications such as infection, scarring, or pigment loss.

Eyelash Extension

  • Do not pick, pull, rub, or touch your extensions. The natural oils from your hands can break down the glue or there can be damaged caused to your natural lashes.
  • If you feel like rubbing, touching, or picking your lashes take your mascara wand and brush through your eyelash extensions. Sometime a lash can be shedding and sitting on your lash line.
  • When brushing your extensions brush your lashes like you would if you are applying mascara.
  • Avoid hot heats, for example ovens, BBQ, bonfire, or lighters.
  • You need to wash your lashes daily with an extension safe lash wash, we recommend the bubble wash.
  • Pat dry your face when you get out of the shower.
  • You want to make sure to use extension safe, make up wipes, mascara, and eyeliner if that is in your routine avoid oily products on or around your eyelash extensions.
  • If you use eye cream, we suggest using it in the morning vs at night.
  • Book out your fill appointments and we recommend every 2 to 3 weeks!

  • You will be given a nourishing lotion with a mascara wand, and we want you to apply that to your brows until it is gone!

Lash Lift & Tint

  • Do not get your eyelash wet for 24 hours after receiving a lash lift and tint.
  • Avoid using any waterproof mascara.
  • You will be given a nourishing lotion with a mascara wand, and we want you to apply that to your eyelashes until it is gone!

Sugaring & Waxing

  • Avoid wearing anything tight after a service.
  • Exfoliate
  • If you are getting a Brazilian avoid any hanky panky within 24 hours

Permanent Makeup

  • Avoid getting anything on the brows, including water, except for cleansing as directed.
  • For the first day after your procedure blot your every 15-20 minutes with a clean tissue or cotton. This will help absorb lymph fluids which will minimize scabbing and help with color retention!
Cleansing
On the first day, cleanse brows every 2-3 hours using damp cotton rounds with soap, rinse soap and pat dry with cleanse cotton. Cleanse twice daily from days 2-10 using this technique.
Ointment
  1.  Days 2-10 apply ointment 3 times daily to clean, dry brows. Less is more to think “grain of rice” with a Q-tip and that is plenty for both brows.
  2.  Do not soak the treated area in the bath, pool, or hot tub. For 30 days refrain from swimming in salt water or chlorinated pool. Avoid saunas, hot yoga, steam rooms or tanning beds for 30 days.
  3.  No exercise for 14 days. After 14 days wear a sweatband when experiencing to avoid sweat on the brow area.
  4.  No sun for 14 days. UV rays are the quickest to make your new brows fade during healing. Keep your brows protected! After they have fully healed (about five weeks) use SPF on them daily.
  5.  No makeup. None should be applied directly to the brows during the healing process. After the brows have shed (14 days or after scabs and dryness have naturally shed) you may wear brow powder at that time.
  6.  No products on the brows besides aftercare products during the healing process. -Do not touch, rub, or scratch your brows following the treatment and during healing.
  7.  If your eyebrows get wet during the healing process pat them dry, do not rub.
  8.  Avoid daily skincare products near your eyebrows.
What to Expect
Initially your brows will appear bold and dark. From weeks 1-2 you will experience dryness, flaking and scabbing. Let this naturally shed off the skin, do not scratch. When the scabs and flakes have left the skin, your new brows may appear light like they have almost disappeared. THIS IS NORMAL! This is because there is a thick layer of protective skin creating a veil over the pigment. Once you go through a skin cycle (4-6 weeks) the pigment will typically reappear but will be about 30-50% lighter than it was immediately after the procedure.
